Ron Fredericks writes: “Introduction to Math Blogging ” is a short overview of the WordPress Math Publisher plugin. Get an overview of the plugin from this video. Some topics include:

What is it

How to install it

How to use it, and

Support and the software development release cycle

To create short flexible videos like this one, go to LectureMaker’s design and purchase page

I include some comments on the WordPress developer ecosystem as a model to learn from and perhaps emulate:

Automation of the submission process for new plugins

Automation of the community metrics and satisfaction the use of individual plugins

Online engineering tools to help developers track milestones during the plugin’s lifecycle (ALM)

Use of forums for community support between developers and users of plugins

I encourage the viewer to consider that increased use of math is necessary in today’s competitive global economy. Using a blog with math publishing features is one way to support this effort.

Ron Fredericks writes: LectureMaker’s Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony coming up next week, so I thought it was high time to show my clients and prospects just what a person can do in a LectureMaker studio in under one hour.

The demo shows you how to build a light weight hard disk storage device for portable transport of 640 Gigabytes of digital data. Unlike most of the portable hard drive vendors – I show you exactly how to assemble, partition, and format the drive using Windows 7 or Vista. I will post a Mac version too if there is any interest.

This type of video is a case study for many of the Silicon Valley high-tech firms who need to quickly and accurately demonstrate their products to users, partners, sales teams, and tech support engineers to name just a few….

During a recent poll, I found very few people were aware of screencasting . Watch my online lecture on the subject to learn how to:

Express your ideas as a screencast on the web,

Embed them within documentation instead of screenshots mixed with tedious explanations, or
